We aim to cater for the needs of all visitors in our home-based three unit bed and breakfast. The following statement is a summary of our provision. If you have any specific questions please feel free to contact us and we will do our best to help.
Pre-Arrival
• We can be contacted by phone, fax, email, or mobile phone text. • We are on the south side of Bath, approximately 10 minutes mostly level walk to the centre of the city. • We are approximately 10 minutes walk from Bath Spa railway station and from the bus station. There is a regular bus service from the bus station that passes the front of the house. • The closest airport is Bristol, approximately 20 miles. There is a regular bus service from the airport to Bristol Temple Meads railway station and from there by train to Bath Spa station. • There is a shop mobility scheme in Bath and a number of the taxi companies offer accessible taxis.
Arrival & Car Parking Facilities
• There is no car parking immediately close to the house, but it is possible to pull up outside to offload luggage or passengers. We can offer assistance with carrying bags into the house if required. There are a number of disabled parking bays within 100 m and unlimited free parking on-street within 250 m. The road and pavement surfaces near the house are smooth tarmac in good condition. The front door is on the side of the house and is reached by 3 concrete steps and a concrete walkway with a minimum width of 920 mm.
Main Entrance & Reception
• Outside the front door is a large doormat and a 150 mm step leads to a vestibule and an inner front door that leads to a hallway 1800 x 1800 mm. • The reception/office is off the hallway and has a number of chairs of different heights. • No background music is played. • A pad and pen are available at reception. • Well trained and well behaved service dogs are permitted but no special arrangements are offered.
Public Areas - General (Internal)
• All walls are painted magnolia, with beige carpet and white woodwork and doors. All doors (except the Lilac Room en-suite bathroom door) have an internal clearance of at least 740 mm. There are no public rooms so the only public areas are the stairs leading to the bedrooms on the floor above the reception/entrance level. There are two flights of stairs each of 9 treads with a landing at half-height between them. The stairs are 720 mm wide with a handrail on the inside and a solid wall on the outside.

Bedrooms
• All bedrooms have TV with teletext. • The Family Suite has a double bedroom with 4'6" (135 cm) double bed accessible from both sides, and a single bedroom with 3' bed accessible from one side only. • The Lilac Room has a single 3' (90 cm) bed accessible from one side only. • The Blue Room is a larger room with a 4'6" double bed accessible from both sides.
• There is an additional room on the ground floor that can be made available by prior arrangement in a twin or double configuration. This room has an ensuite bathroom with a bath with shower over, wc and washbasin.
Bathroom, Shower-room & WC [Ensuite or Shared]
• All bathrooms have tiled floors. • The bathroom in the Family Suite and the Lilac Room each contain a wc, small washbasin, and a shower cubicle with detachable spray head on an adjustable riser rail. The cubicle is 740 x 740 mm quadrant shaped and is accessed by a 200 mm step up. In the Lilac Room the door to the en-suite bathroom as a width of 560 mm. • The bathroom in the Blue Room contains a wc, small washbasin and a 1400 x 700 mm semicircular shower cubicle with a fixed overhead shower and a thermostatic mixer valve. It is accessed by a 100 mm step.
